Hard Candy

Generally, the Sea Salt Carmels have been a soft chew. Not my last two orders, very hard. It may be older, shelf life.

When it comes to caramels, they're sensitive to extreme temperature changes (both hot and cold) and for optimal texture we recommend letting them go back to room temperature for up to 12 hours after they're delivered. As long as they're kept at room temperature, their texture should remain unchanged, however, if they melt and resolidify in storage, their texture can harden up sometimes. If that happens we'd recommend warming them up or microwaving them to soften the caramels back up.
