New recipe is bad

Choc Zero ruined these. The second I bit into it I new they changed the recipe. The old recipe was SO much better. The new ones lack the peanut butter flavor and the white chocolate has an extremely weird taste. The texture and consistency is way off too. Before they would melt in your mouth and tasted so much like an actual peanut butter cup. You could feel the slight graininess of the peanut butter before. Now it tastes like fake chocolate and fake peanut butter. There's also a new aftertaste that is unbearable. So bummed I purchased so many packs because I won't be eating them. I went from purchasing ridiculous amounts of the bags to never buying again. Bummed you ruined my favorite treat!

We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the new PB cups recipe. This change has happened over a year ago and the reason for it is that our previous extraordinarily creamy PB, while enjoyed by a lot of folks, was exploding and could not be kept at its consistency. It was essentially melting from the inside, and its temperature for melting was room temp, so it was not shelf stable entirely and it led to high melt refund levels. The good news is that we still plan to bring the creamy PB cups recipe that you've enjoyed in the past during colder months as a seasonal treat and our extra creamy Halloween ghosts are available for purchase right now.
