Hot Weather package worked

I will add this to my purchase again in HOT weather. Why a 4 star - 2 reasons - never have I had to pay to protect my purchase that needed to be protected. Lastly, my product came unmelted but when I opened the insulated pack, the interior was not cool at all and the 3 small cooler packs were soft and barely cool to the touch. I think for 6.99 dry ice should have been used or a larger cooling source.

We wanted to let you know that we offer free complimentary ice packaging with every order that's shipped during the summer. What additional hot weather protection does is that it adds another ice pack to the predetermined amount along with styrofoam lined packaging. We also offer it for free with every order that's $75+. It sounds like the ice packs protected your goodies from melting and we're happy to hear that! We appreciate your dry ice suggestion - we've looked into it before, but we learned that it can create freezer burn on the chocolate which alters the texture and flavor. It also has a high storage cost we would have to pass onto our customers and a safety risk for our workers, so we choose not to package with it. I wish chocolate wasn't so sensitive!

Great for fudge

I have been using these chips to make my peanut butter fudge for a year now. Very good. I’ve even made peanut clusters too. I can’t tell the difference from these and store bought candy with loads of sugar
