First off, I am not a big fan of Snickers and Rhea is, clearly, a sugar-free clone. But since finding out I am insulin-resistant I've had to make diet changes. And I have a big sweet tooth, so I will try just about any candy once.

All and all 3 out of 5 stars:
Why?

The nougat. While it isn't break your teeth hard it is much too firm. My first bite reminded me of the first time I bit into a Charleston Chew. I had to struggle a bit to actual get a bite and hope all the chocolate didn't fall off as I did.

Other than that, flavors were comparably. I personally like ChocZero's caramel better. It has a little more of a salted caramel flavor which plays nicely with the peanuts and milk chocolate. I just wish the nougat was a little lighter and softer.

Excellent, rivals Snickers...

RHEA full size bars are the item I like best from Choc Zero. They taste like Snickers, but no carbs, and have no after taste, nor do they cause gastric issues like products with Maltilol seem to. They will affect my glucose slightly if I eat more than one full-size bar, but just one shows no affect.

All Time Favorite

I love Rhea Bars so much. For me, a Type I diabetic for the last 50 years, it is a "real" candy bar! Sometimes, I even eat them for a quick lunch. Plus, they have a good fiber content but don't taste "fibery"!
