My fav low calorie Chocolate Fix!

I buy these constantly! Dark chocolate has health benefits. This is a quick low-calorie dessert for me, & it also kills the urge for me to eat some higher calorie desert. I don't feel dessert deprived as I always have my Chocolate squares handy!

GREAT FLAVOR AND TEXTURE

These 92% Dark Chocolate Squares have excellent flavor and texture that is smooth as silk. I just gave a box of these and some of your other products to a 98 year old friend for her birthday. She loves very dark chocolate, so she was thrilled!

Love the squares, but wish packaging wasn't so wasteful

Would rate as 5 stars if packaging didn't include so much wasteful (and imho unnecessary) stuff. Cardboard box, though it can be recycled, requires a knife to open. The plastic tray inside and the plastic cover are just more stuff to go into a landfill. I much preferred prior packaging, with squares loose in a paper bag. But I REALLY love the dark chocolate flavor -- and lack of sugar -- so I'll continue to buy 'em despite my ecological misgivings.

Thanks for sharing your packaging feedback with us! We wanted to let you know that the boxes actually create less waste and are more eco friendly. compared to the bags that we've had in the past - this is one of the reasons that we've decided to make the switch, The entire package is recyclable, everything from the tray inside to the foil around the chocolate, with the only exception being the plastic film on top of the chocolate to keep it in place. The box itself also helps firm the chocolate back up if it softens slightly from heat, and, it helped us combat rising shipping fees. We're also sorry to hear that you've had trouble opening the boxes, they're intentionally more sturdy to help your goodies survive the shipping, and there is a tear strip that you can use to open them.

Single Square Servings are Perfect!

My husband loves dark chocolate. The darker the better so these 92% dark chocolate square hit the spot when he wants some chocolate. He says that its so dark and rich that he only needs one square to satisfy his chocolate craving.

The best dark chocolate!

I absolutely love this 92% dark chocolate. Before I had to go on a gluten, dairy, and sugar free diet, I only liked milk chocolate. This chocolate has made it so much easier to go sugar free. I like it better than the sugar variety. I have a couple of pieces everyday. It's the best!

Deliciously Dark… and Disappointingly Wasteful

The 92% Dark Chocolate is rich, smooth, and surprisingly tasty for such a high cocoa content. But the packaging? Way over the top. It's individually wrapped in layers—plastic, foil, and a fancy outer box that feels more like a gift than a grocery item. For a product that feels like it should appeal to eco-conscious consumers, the waste is disappointing. Delicious, yes—but it leaves a bad taste when you see how much trash is left behind. I wish I were able to add photos to this review to show the huge stack of packaging waste. The old packaging of the squares in a bag had much less waste. Please do better !

We totally understand your packaging concerns and we're happy to let you know that when it comes to this box, everything can be recycled except for the protective film seal on top of the wrapped chocolates. Yes, even the foil around the chocolate can be recycled! Our bags in the past were not recyclable, so we made this move to be more environmentally friendly.
