This is where you can have your chocolate and eat it too! As a diabetic it does not raise blood sugar and the fiber/ fat content helps to quiet appetite and desire to mindlessly nibble. It’s just sweet enough for an after meal palate cleansing. Check, check and check.

A daily staple. I really, really like them. Their original form of packaging was superior: they used to be individually wrapped in a sealed pouch and then all of those in a bag. I would keep the bag in the cabinet and pop 2 in my bag for any length of time without fear of it melting, crushing, and getting the pocket or bag dirty. Plus, I could leave it out without fear of it attracting critters. They changed the packing to foil wrapped in a bag, and finally foil wrapped in this bar shaped packaging. I have to imagine this benefits them in some way; it does not benefit me. It is more steps when I am running out of the house: pop open the cardboard box, peel back the plastic, try and pop two out without messing up the rest. And finally leave the box on the fridge because it’s not sealed after that and could attract bugs. Lot of steps there.

Thanks so much for the love. We appreciate you sharing your packaging feedback with us and we wanted to give you little more information on why we've switched from bags to boxes. One of the reasons is the rising shpping rates, essentially when you ship part of the cator into trates is packaging size and the same amount of weight in boxes versus bags fits into a smaller box due to less air. To make up for the inconvenience, our boxes contain 16 pieces of chocolate bark compared to 15 pieces in the bags. We also wanted to create a better package that ships well and is more eco friendly compared to the previous packaging as the plastic inside can be recycled, with the exception of the protective film that ensrues that your chocolate is sealed. That being said, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us!

The dark chocolate with almonds is one of my favorites! Really satisfies the sweet tooth. I'd love it if they made more cream filled dark chocolate options.

Good and bad

These are great. Was disappointed there was no dark chocolate advent. Also, recieved 25% discount for baking chips. Dark chocolate ones were not available. Disappointed.

Not a dark chocolate taste

These is sre OK at best. They are much too sweet for dark chocolate and barely have any chocolate flavor come through I taste sweetness and vanilla more than chocolate. pretty disappointed, for dark chocolate even one with sugar is not usually this sweet.

A favorite here, despite the high-security packaging.

We first found these individually wrapped Keto treats at Whole Foods, when they were packaged 16 to a bag. Now they come from ChocZero, individually sequestered in a plastic tray, which is protected by a peel-away cover of cellophane inside a sturdy box that most times can be opened without power tools. These squares are worth the effort, but we do miss the eco-friendly pouches that didn't involve so much toss-away plastic.

Sorry to hear you've had trouble opening the boxes, there should be a punch tab on the top of the box. Once that’s been pushed in, it should be easy to tear the rest of the box. We totally understand your packaging concerns and we're happy to let you know, everything can be recycled except for the protective film seal on top of the wrapped chocolates. Yes, even the foil around the chocolate can be recycled! Our bags in the past were not recyclable, so we made this move to be more environmentally friendly whilst protecting the chocolates during shipping. Thank you
