Additional Hot Weather Protection

My order took 11 days for delivery and if I hadn't gotten the extra cold package I'm sure it would of been 100% melted! As it was all of the chocolate items went immediately into the freezer. You need to improve on your shipping time during hot summer months and stop using snail mail for shipping..

This was definitely worth the extra price. It is extremely hot in NH right now and my order of 8 boxes of PB cups were in perfect condition as well as the Sea Salt Caramels

I knew that the temps were going to be just over 100 degrees over the next 3 - 5 days, so I added the extra protection. My box was on the porch in direct sunlight for about a half hour before I could get to it in the middle of the afternoon, yet not one item was melted! It is worth paying a little extra to get everything in perfect condition when you know the summer heat is going to be extremely high.

Living in Tucson, AZ you have to worry about 100° temps in the summer! I’ve purchased the Additional Hot Weather Protection 3 times! Styrofoam lined box with frozen gel packs make sure my chocolate treasures arrive unmelted!! I only gave 4 stars because I feel June-September in hot weather states the protection should be free!

Living in Texas it can get pretty warm even in the latter part of the year, so it was worth it to get the extra protection!
I had one previous order arrive melted (hotter than expected temps - and the delivery driver left in full sun), but still edible after cooling, just not as cute. (It was not ChocZero's fault since there was cooling packs, just not enough for higher than expected temps & poor delivery service at the end!)
This time, all the packs were melted & room temp, but all the chocolate was saved! (And temps were mid-80s) It was worth the price to make sure everything arrived safe & in good shape, since some will be gifts.

We had a summer of 108+ for 4 months, I ordered the extra pack because of that they only thing I seemed to have a slight melty issue with was the chocolate chips, but after I put those in the fridge they went back to chocolate chips They were melted , the ice packs, but I am pretty sure since it was 113 for a few days before I got this and you know who ever delivered them doesn't have a/c and my chocolates and I ordered a lot, were in tact, I assume these worked. I just made another order and even though today is 100, the rest of the week is going to cool to early 90's, I still added it to my cart just in case. Its worth the money to add it if you live in a hot climate like me

The ice packs may be melted but the products are not!! Keeps it cold just long enough! Thank You!!!

Kept everything nice and solid! Of course we don't need it now that we are very cold up north now. But it was very nice this summer!
