Gluten Free Oreo™ Fudge
Make sugar free cookies and crème fudge with gluten free cookies and keto ingredients.
Oreo™ fudge is a holiday classic dessert that mixes white chocolate with crushed chocolate sandwich cookies. It could be described as Santa’s favorite fudge because it tastes like milk and cookies. If you want to make this fudge, but you don’t want all the sugar, this recipe is for you. We created a Oreo™ fudge recipe that is totally keto friendly and has no artificial sweeteners. That means deliciously decadent sugar free fudge without erythritol. We use our gluten free sandwich cookies called Dunkies, which are chocolate cookies with sweet vanilla crème inside. They’re also cookies packed with prebiotic fiber, so this dessert will help keep you full longer and help you avoid sugar cravings.
For this recipe, you’ll be using real white chocolate. What does that mean? Well, our keto white chocolate chips are made with cocoa butter instead of milk and sugar. This brings a naturally buttery flavor to your fudge without any sugar added. Instead of condensed milk, we melt the white chocolate with heavy cream to create a ganache. From there we mix in our sugar free marshmallow fluff and some vanilla for flavor. This creates a fluffy fudge texture that is still firm enough you can cut into squares for a party platter.
Oh, and did we mention you can make it all in the microwave? This Oreo™ fudge recipe does not require a candy thermometer or complicated stove top recipe steps. You melt the chocolate in the microwave and then mix in the other ingredients for a delicious fudge. You can also decorate this fudge for the holidays by dyeing the white chocolate red or using sugar free sprinkles. This time, we opted to sprinkle on more crushed gluten free Dunkies to the top for more of that delicious cookie flavor.

Are Oreos™ sugar free?
No, Oreos™ are not typically sugar free. While Nabiso™ has released a sugar free version of the chocolate sandwich cookie, it is sweetened with maltitol which can cause a blood sugar spike and digestion issues. They also make a gluten free version, but that is not sugar free. If you’re looking for a gluten free and sugar free Oreo™ alternative, our better-for-you cookies are the way to go! Our Dunkies come in the classic chocolate flavor, but we make a ton of other versions including golden and lemon.

Can you make sugar free fudge without erythritol?
You can make rich, creamy fudge without using erythritol. Our secret is sugar free marshmallow spread, which adds the perfect sweetness and helps create that classic fudge texture. No need to mix granulated sugar and butter! Just smooth, melt-in-your-mouth goodness made the easy way.
How do I make fudge in the microwave?
Making fudge in the microwave is not only easy, it’s more foolproof than the stove top method. Instead of worrying about what a candy thermometer reads, you simply melt the white chocolate on a low setting in the microwave and stir every 15 seconds.
How can I crush cookies without making a mess?
In order to make Oreo™ fudge, you’ll need to crush our gluten free cookies to sprinkle into the fudge and on top as decoration. To do this without mess, put the cookies in a Ziploc™ bag and use a rolling pin to crush the cookies. For this recipe, you don’t want to crush them into fine crumbs, but instead small chunks that will fold nicely into the white chocolate fudge.
Can I freeze fudge?
Yes, you can freeze fudge for up to 6 months. We suggest cutting the fudge ahead of time, especially if you want to enjoy a piece or two at a time. You can set the fudge on the counter to get to room temperature.
