Ingredients

  • 1-pound thin sliced bacon, with each piece of bacon cut in half down the middle
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, washed and trimmed of tough ends
  • 3 tbsp ChocZero sugar free maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F
  2. Wrap each stalk of asparagus in half a piece of bacon. If the asparagus is very thin you can wrap two stalks together. Continue until all the asparagus is wrapped.
  3. Place the wrapped asparagus on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or tin foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until the bacon is cooked and the asparagus is tender.
  4. While the asparagus is cooking make the sauce In a small mixing bowl. Stir together the maple syrup, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and lemon juice.
  5. When the asparagus is done serve with the sauce.
